Role: Assistant (Universal Music – Amplify U)
Key Responsibilities Assists managers across the label, including departments like Marketing, Creative, Streaming, and A&R. Duties include:
- Budget management in Uniport (approving quotes, raising purchase orders).
- Liaison with artist managers and key contacts with professionalism.
- Briefing creatives, makers, and agencies for short-form content like song teasers and visualisers.
- Collating and distributing campaign assets (artwork images, press releases, biographies).
- Inventory management, including physical stock monitoring for internal and external teams.
- Any other approved duties required by Marketing and A&R teams.
Core Responsibilities
- General administration (invoicing, filing, managing stock orders).
- Taking detailed notes in meetings and sharing concise post-meeting summaries.
- Preparing/printing documents for weekly meetings.
- Updating the gig guide document weekly.
- Coordinating content from external parties.
- Arranging staff travel (including travel requests to finance).
- Authoring weekly campaign updates for artists on behalf of Marketing.
- Compiling information across departments to update physical release sales notes.
- Booking bikes, cabs, and couriers.
- Handling ticket ordering for gigs.
- Sourcing/ordering merchandise and special items (e.g. flyers, stickers, posters).

Skills & Experience Required
Must-Have:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent administrative, organisational, and time-management skills.
- Fluent verbal and written communication.
- Robust problem-solving ability (with creativity in finding solutions).
- Passionate engagement with music industry.
Nice to Have:
- Proactive mindset.
- Self-motivated, hard-working, and enthusiastic.
- Composure under pressure.
- Flexibility to prioritise tasks dynamically.
