Label/General Manager
The Label/General Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dalston, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Fire Records and its associated divisions. This role manages release schedules, coordinates production and distribution, and ensures effective communication between artists, managers, and internal teams. The General Manager oversees marketing and promotion activities, supports artist development, and monitors performance across physical and digital channels. The position includes budgeting, forecasting, contract oversight, and reporting to leadership on label performance. The General Manager also leads and supports staff, maintains efficient workflows, and represents the label in industry meetings and events.

Qualifications
- Strong label operations skills, including release management, catalog planning, and coordination across recording, reissue, film, soundtrack, and publishing projects.
- Experience in artist and repertoire (A&R), artist relations, and talent development, with the ability to build long-term, trust-based partnerships.
- Proficiency in music marketing and promotion, covering digital campaigns, social media, PR coordination, and audience growth strategies.
- Financial and business management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, contract review, and performance reporting.
- Team leadership and project management capabilities, with experience organizing workflows, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with artists, managers, distributors, and external partners.
- Knowledge of the independent music ecosystem, including digital platforms, physical distribution, licensing, and publishing practices.
- Prior experience in a label, management company, or related music industry environment; familiarity with UK and US markets is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working on-site in a small, dynamic team, with a proactive mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
