Laboratory Analyst

Laboratory Analyst – Oral & Solid Dose (OSD) Support

We are seeking a forward-thinking individual to join our world-class teams, supporting the Ware Manufacturing Site’s laboratories and driving process innovation while maintaining product supply consistency.

Job Purpose

The Laboratory Analyst plays a core role in our operations, responsible for:

  • Conducting product testing and analysis to ensure a consistent flow of safe, efficacious, and compliant product
  • Maintaining Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and adherence to EHS regulations in the lab
  • Collaborating within the lab and across external departments/customers to:
    • Maintain product supply
    • Solve operational challenges
    • Drive continuous improvement

This role directly supports the Oral & Solid Dose (OSD) function at Ware.


About You

A successful candidate will: ✔ Have experience in a GMP environment (essential) ✔ Thrive in a fast-paced, problem-solving workplace ✔ Demonstrate teamwork, written/verbal communication, and people skills ✔ Excel in structured, detail-oriented processes with a mindset for innovation ✔ Show strong analytical skills and a commitment to raising standards


About Ware Manufacturing Site

Medicines at Ware (UK) are developed and manufactured as either:

  • Respiratory devices or (primarily)
  • Oral Solid Dose (OSD) forms

  • Product launches for the company’s new medicines (OSD pipeline)
  • High-volume commercial production of respiratory device components

Qualifications & Experience

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 A-levels (or equivalent) in a relevant subject/discipline
  • Proficiency in IT and computer systems

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Familiarity with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP)
  • Exposure to tablet testing methodologies (e.g., HPLC)
  • Skills in sample preparation, including:
    • Handling balances
    • Using pH meters
  • Empower software experience (advantageous)
