The Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology Students’ Union (LMPSU) Peer Mentorship Program supports undergraduate students in the LMP Specialist Program by pairing upper-year mentors with junior students.

The program is designed to help students transition into the academically rigorous LMP curriculum while providing guidance on coursework, research opportunities, extracurricular involvement, and academic planning. Mentor-mentee pairings are carefully matched based on shared interests, experiences, extracurricular involvement, research goals, and personality to foster meaningful connections and build a supportive community within the program. In addition to ongoing peer mentorship, participants are invited to networking, academic, and social events throughout the year, including activities such as trivia and Jeopardy nights.
