Laboratory Operations Manager
We're hiring a hands-on Operations Manager to bring structure, pace, and performance to a fast-growing physical testing lab.
We are supporting a growing specialist laboratory delivering physical testing of protective equipment, whose work supports manufacturers and regulators to ensure products meet critical safety and performance standards.
As they continue to scale, we're looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to bring structure, drive improvements, and lead the lab testing engineering team .

You'll take ownership of work scheduling, team performance, and operational processes, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to a high technical standard. Alongside this, you'll oversee quality systems and support accreditation activities.

What you'll own:
Day-to-day scheduling and planning of lab work Leading a small team of engineers Driving process improvements and efficiency Implementing KPIs and performance tracking Supporting audits and overseeing accreditations

Requirements
We're looking for someone who:
Has led technical or lab-based teams Is highly organised and confident managing workloads Enjoys improving processes and driving results Brings a hands-on, pragmatic leadership style ISO experience highly desirable, especially ISO 17025
