Nordic Laboratories - Laboratory Processing Assistant

Overview

Nordic Laboratories is part of Nordic Group, a purpose-driven organisation dedicated to improving health globally through functional medicine and a personalised approach to health. As a world-renowned functional medicine brand, Nordic Laboratories supports health practitioners worldwide with genetic and functional testing, clinical education (in-person and online) and supplements.

As we continue to grow and expand our market we are seeking a highly organized, fast-paced, and solution-oriented Laboratory Processing Assistant to join our processing room team in Copenhagen. In this role, you will be the critical first line of defense- receiving, verifying, and preparing highly sensitive patient specimens (blood, saliva, urine, stool, and hair) for analytical processing.

The ideal candidate possesses an unwavering attention to detail to catch subtle protocol deviations and sample issues before they reach our testing tracks.

The role

Intake & Registration

  • Unbox, cross-reference, and accurately register incoming clinical test kits against internal system orders.

Quality Control Inspection

  • Perform rigorous verification checks to identify and log critical sample issues, including:
    • Evaluating specimen volume adequacy (e.g., matching required vial or card fill lines).
    • Checking sample integrity (e.g., verifying drying completeness of cards, identifying hemolyzed blood, or noting leaking containers).
    • Verifying administrative documentation for missing collection dates, missing collection times, or potential demographic/gender profile mismatches.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
