LGC Genomics and Diagnostics
LGC Genomics and Diagnostics develops and manufactures a comprehensive portfolio of catalogue and custom-developed diagnostic quality solutions and component materials for the extended life sciences industry. We partner with IVD assay developers, and pharmaceutical, CRO and academic institutions in commercialization activities across the entire diagnostic pipeline. Laboratorians and diagnostic professionals across disciplines of clinical chemistry, immunochemistry, serology, molecular diagnostics, and clinical genomics rely on LGC’s products to support accurate and reliable diagnostic results.
Our operating entities include Maine Standards Company, SeraCare Life Sciences, and Technopath Clinical Diagnostics, which are in vitro diagnostics (IVD) manufacturers of quality measurement tools (calibrators, controls, linearity, EQA/PT, biological materials), the Native Antigen Company, which is a manufacturer and supplier of viral antigens and LGC Proficiency Testing a global leader in PT schemes. We operate FDA-registered and ISO 13485-accredited facilities in Maine (USA), Massachusetts (USA), Maryland (USA), Tipperary (Ireland), ISO 9001-accredited facility in Oxford, UK, and Traverse City, Michigan US.

Job Description
Are you seeking a stimulating and fulfilling role in an innovative R&D and manufacturing facility? LGC Genomics and Diagnostics is the place to be!
We are currently seeking a Laboratory Support role to join The Native Antigen Company Production Team at our Kidlington, Oxford location. This outstanding opportunity will allow you to be at the forefront of scientific innovation, contributing to groundbreaking research and development projects.
As Laboratory Support, you will primarily be supporting the Production department, specifically with vial dispensing, kit construction and general lab up keep.
Responsibilities
- Aliquoting
- Labelling
- Kit construction
- Buffer making
- General lab house keeping
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock control activities.
- Manage laboratory databases and ensure production and quality records are maintained.
- Receive, inspect and process incoming materials and shipments.
- Adhere to the Quality management system and documented processes
Qualifications
- General science and/or good lab practice knowledge preferred.
- Zeal for progressing technologies to elevate patient outcomes
