Laboratory Team Leader
Our client is a leading provider of analytical services to customers across multiple industries including pharmaceutical, food, environmental and cosmetic. With laboratories spanning across the globe, an exciting role has arisen in Livingston to contribute towards the success of their Biopharmaceutical division!
Role Overview
Joining the site as Team Leader, you will hold responsibility for coordinating and developing a small team within a busy Chemistry department, overseeing daily workloads and providing technical guidance as required. Additionally, you will be a key point of contact for clients and collaborating teams, responsible for providing a high-quality analytical service in compliance with GMP regulations.

Other Responsibilities Will Include
- Scheduling of team activities
- Primary batch audits
- Analytical data review
- Laboratory support including maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical instrumentation
- Forecasting and budgeting for the department
- Training, development and supervision of the team
Skill and Qualification Requirements
Applications are invited from accomplished Analytical Chemists who have a strong background within a GMP laboratory, using HPLC/GC instrumentation. You must have some experience supervising or mentoring staff as well as excellent communication skills to liaise effectively across the business and externally.
