Laboratory Technician
Manchester
Permanent contract
4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights 7-7)
Salary £34,910.16
We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our Manchester Dairy within our Müller Milk & Ingredients business.
The main purpose of the Laboratory Technician is assuring quality performance through analysis, subject knowledge, and testing performance whilst striving to continuously improve in line with the Müller values.
Lab Technician Key Tasks:
- Provide expertise through quality-based testing and data evaluation
- Demonstrate active involvement in solving problems / troubleshooting through data analysis and evaluation
- Play an active part in building QMS capability across site
- Responsible for laboratory tasks and management systems (5S etc)
- Support and process confirms operations quality control responsibilities
- Provide governance and ownership of Quality Index and other monthly reports
- Responsible for internal and external audit processes
