Curious about how the medicines of the future are made? Excited by science but just starting your journey? Interested in learning from world-class scientists while contributing to the development of RNA therapeutics? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
We are offering an L3 Lab Technician apprenticeship for someone at the beginning of their scientific career who is eager to build a strong foundation in laboratory science. No prior lab experience is required, what matters most is enthusiasm, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. You’ll bring fresh energy to the team, and we’ll support your development throughout.
You will combine structured, accredited study with hands-on experience in a fast-paced biotech laboratory, supported by experienced mentors. Working alongside molecular biologists, chemists, and AI scientists, you will gradually build the skills needed to contribute to RNA-based medicine research.
Your responsibilities will grow as your skills develop. Early on, you’ll focus on lab fundamentals and safe working practices, progressing over time to more independent scientific tasks.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
