Job Description
Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Job Type: Temporary 12 months
Salary: £24,758 pa
Location: Cambridge
Hours: Sunday 12pm to 1pm & Monday to Wednesday 11.30am to 10pm

Industry: Health & Nutrition, Food
Role overview:
- Perform sample preparation and extraction following SGS-approved SOPs.
- Report any equipment or instrumentation failures to senior staff.
- Maintain organized, auditable laboratory records.
- Complete daily tasks efficiently to support operational output.
- Maintain a safe working environment, following Health & Safety protocols
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would be from a food process driven background such as fast food restaurants or food manufacturing. No previous lab experience or degree is required!
- Experience in working with food and fast paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Good organisational skills to maintain records and compliance.
- Proactive approach to learning and development.
