Labour Ward Coordinator - Huntingdon/Peterborough
1 Year Secondment Opportunity as Labour Ward Coordinator
You will join our existing team of coordinators and work across our two sites, helping to develop your skill set and introducing you to the role of Labour Ward Coordinator.
About the Role
As a Midwife Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of activity on the labour ward.
Responsibilities
- Leading and managing the team while providing expert clinical midwifery care
- Setting and monitoring performance standards for both activity and staff, ensuring a high-performing and supportive working environment
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, compassionate, and effective care for all women
- Offering expert leadership advice to enhance midwifery practice
- Taking a proactive role in the development of midwifery within the unit and beyond
