Labourer
Labourer – Construction (Full-time, Permanent)
Location: Wirral / North West
Salary: Up to £26,400 per year
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Concept Projects Group is looking for a proactive and motivated Labourer to join our construction project team.
This is a hands-on role supporting site operations across a range of industrial, engineering, civil and fit-out projects across the North West, primarily in the Wirral.
About the Role
As a Labourer, you will work alongside construction multi-trade operatives, senior builders and site supervisors to support the delivery of high-quality projects while maintaining excellent standards of health and safety.
This role suits someone who takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude, and is eager to develop within a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople on site
- Prepare work areas before tasks begin
- Load, unload and move materials and equipment
- Carry out basic demolition and strip-out works
- Mix materials such as cement or adhesives when required
- Keep sites clean, tidy and free from hazards
- Set up and dismantle temporary structures, such as barriers and protection
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision
- Follow site health and safety procedures at all times
- Wear and maintain PPE correctly
- Assist with deliveries and checking materials
- Remove waste and sort materials for disposal or recycling
- Report hazards, defects or unsafe conditions to site supervisors
Skills and Experience Required
- Keen interest in a construction-based role
- General maintenance skills or willingness to develop these skills
- Good communication skills, as this will be a client-facing role
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Flexibility to travel to sites across the North West
