Labourer – Belfast
Location: Belfast Employment Type: Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week) Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum Benefits & Perks:

About the Role
The Labourer will support skilled tradespeople in maintaining and improving both residential and commercial properties. This hands-on role entails a wide range of manual tasks to ensure smooth and efficient project execution, from minor repairs to site preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist tradespeople (e.g., plumbers, electricians, joiners) in completing their tasks
- Perform basic repairs, maintenance work as instructed
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment to worksites
- Prepare and cleanse job sites before and after operations
- Handle waste disposal and recycling in line with company policy
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery
- Undertake general labour tasks (e.g., digging, lifting, moving heavy objects)
- Complete reasonable management requests as required
- Maintain accurate logs of work done and materials used
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors
- Provide excellent customer service when required

Who We’re Looking For
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic construction tools and equipment knowledge
- Ability to follow instructions and act as a team player
- Awareness of Health & Safety regulations in construction
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- A **valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) labourer’s card (Note: H&S Awareness (Level 1) will be provided via induction if missing)
- A full UK/NI driving licence
Desirable
- Additional site-based certifications (e.g., Asbestos Awareness)
- Previous experience supporting skilled trades
