About The Role

As a Land Access Coordinator, you'll carry out a pivotal role between National Grid Overhead Line Engineers and the Access to Land Team, to arrange access for maintenance works on existing overhead lines.
Building a clean, fair and affordable energy future is no easy feat, and it takes all of us. But we will supply you with the environment to make it happen.
In this role you can enjoy our hybrid working from office and home. You'll be flexible to travel to offices and operational sites around the Pentir / Penwortham area as required. A North Wales / North West location would be preferable.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and deliver access arrangements to allow maintenance works to be delivered to programme.
- Plotting of access routes onto GIS Mapping system.
- You will be the key liaison between the Engineers, Land Access team and the Works Planning team.
- Support the delivery of lands related projects and assist colleagues with effective external stakeholder and local community engagement.
- Be the first point of contact for internal / landowner and occupier / third party enquiries, issues and complaints.
- Support activities undertaken by the National Grid Grantor Relations team (who are the central team for Landowner / Occupier records, payments, complaints, updates etc.) to ensure the accuracy of the landowner / occupier databases.
About You
- Good communication skills to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders including landowners / occupiers and their representatives.
- Ability to work well within a team efficiently, maintain strict adherence to policies and processes, ensure legal compliance.
- Proven ability with Microsoft Office products and mapping systems.
- Excellent team player, working successfully in team environment where the work has to be carried out in a timely and accurate manner, sometimes under pressure, exercising skill and judgement within a well-defined framework.
- Good computer skills (Training will be provided on Mapping systems).
- Knowledge / experience in agricultural or agricultural liaison in the utility industry or proven knowledge of similar activities is desirable.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
- Ability to speak Welsh would be a bonus.

What You'll Get
A competitive salary between £40,000 - £45,000 – dependent on capability.
