Land Agent – Infrastructure and Renewables Team
Location: Kendal

About the Role
The successful candidate will join the Infrastructure and Renewables team as a Land Agent based in Kendal. This supportive role focuses on delivering utility, infrastructure, and renewable projects, with a strong emphasis on client service, stakeholder engagement, and project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide land and property advice to clients, ensuring high-quality criminal advice and services.
- Execute a range of projects and schemes with initiative and proactive leadership—meeting deadlines, ensuring quality standards, and taking ownership of work delivered.
- Build strong working relationships with:
- Client personnel
- Internal and external stakeholders (contractors, consultants, landowners, and occupiers)
- Manage negotiations, expectations, and service improvements.
- Conduct property and asset management consultations—assessing current asset strategies and developing long-term improvement plans. Manage capital/operational budgets and investment programs.
- Maintain and enhance client relationships through consistent quality assurance.
- Mentor and support trainees within the department.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the North-West of England.
- Ensure audit compliance with ISO procedures, maintain thorough records, and provide regular client updates.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously across various stages, ensuring efficient progress, timeliness, and budget adherence.

Requirements
- Ideally a MRICS or AssocRICS qualified professional, but experience in relevant roles (e.g., wayleave officer or agricultural liaison officer/ALO) will be considered.
- Proficiency in IT tools, including:
- Microsoft Excel & Word
- GIS platforms (MS Projects a plus but not essential).
- Strong ability to manage complex projects and quantitative/qualitative data.
- Comfortable with onsite and virtual meetings/inengagement (cients, stakeholders, and colleagues).
- Attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and issuaily driving required (UK licence essential).
