Land and Setting Out Surveyor
Company Description
Established in 1995, Interlocks Surveys is a highly experienced RICS regulated provider of geospatial survey data to clients across the UK and abroad.
We work with clients across the complete spectrum of property and construction to provide innovative survey solutions and high quality data on the natural and built environments.
Role Description
Join Interlocks Surveys as a Land & Setting Out Surveyor. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop into a highly experienced Surveyor while contributing to innovative surveying projects that support infrastructure development and construction excellence.
Essential Requirements
- Two or more years’ experience of land surveying including setting out, and preparing topographical survey drawings using AutoCAD software
Desirable Skills
- Experience in carrying out monitoring surveys
- Experience in the use of LSS
- Experience of measured building surveys

General Expectations
- An excellent working knowledge of Total Stations
- To be computer literate and conversant with AutoCAD
- To be capable of working under minimum supervision
- To have good time management skills and be comfortable working to deadlines
- To be adaptable and prepared to undertake any work that falls within your ability and competence
- To be capable to prepare safety critical paperwork and must show a keen interest in modern health and safety within the industry
- To be prepared to monitor and train less experienced members of staff
- A full UK driving licence is essential
The candidate will be able to work at any position within the survey team to achieve the project objectives. Reporting to the Survey Manager/Senior Surveyor, the candidate will be expected to work on site at an efficient rate on surveys and acting consistently with a respectable work attitude.

- Salary negotiated dependant on experience (£30k-£40k PA)
- Nominal 40 hours a week

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
