Fred. Olsen Seawind

Fred. Olsen Seawind is an established, dedicated offshore wind developer. Building on Fred. Olsen Renewables’ 25-year track record, market presence and portfolio, Fred. Olsen Seawind is bringing forward offshore wind developments in Scotland, Ireland, Norway and other key markets. Utilising our extensive experience, we are focused on delivering projects with strong environmental and socio-economic benefits.

Across all our projects our approach is underpinned by a commitment to collaborate with industry, government and communities. By working in collaboration, we believe that we can support Scotland in its progress towards net zero and play an integral role in helping the country become a world leader in offshore wind.

We are excited to be growing our team with the introduction of a Land Manager to play a central role in helping secure the land rights and stakeholder relationships needed for Muir Mhòr - one of Scotland’s major offshore wind projects, progressing toward delivery in the early 2030s. The position is based out of our Glasgow office on a hybrid basis, with regular travel across landfall, cable corridor and substation areas in Peterhead.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Lead voluntary land agreement negotiations, including option agreements, servitudes and leases across the landfall, cable corridor and substation areas.
  • Work with external legal advisors to prepare, review and finalise land agreements.
  • Support the project’s Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) strategy if needed by helping assess where statutory powers may be required if voluntary agreements cannot be secured, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and best-practice land engagement.
  • Build trusted working relationships with landowners, tenants, agents and local stakeholders.
  • Coordinate landowner meetings and ensure clear communication throughout surveys and project development.
  • Help maintain a transparent, fair and constructive engagement process that supports community trust.
  • Arrange access for environmental, engineering, archaeological and geotechnical surveys.
  • Address and resolve access constraints in collaboration with landowners and survey teams.
  • Support efficient, safe and considerate on-the-ground operations.
  • Maintain accurate records, GIS data and land parcel mapping.
  • Support the preparation of planning and consenting documentation requiring land information.
  • Lead and manage agreements with other developers where landfall points, corridors or infrastructure locations intersect.
  • Provide regular reporting on risks, progress and upcoming land-related milestones.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
