Land Manager
Land Manager – Housebuilding
Location: Cheshire / Merseyside Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 (DOE) + Car Allowance + Package + Bonus
Cognisant Search has been instructed to appoint a Land Manager on behalf of a well-funded, highly successful housebuilder. This business specialises in delivering large-scale residential developments, is financially strong, and continues to grow through a strategic and sustainable land acquisition programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Land Director to develop and maintain strong relationships with landowners, agents, and professional networks.
- Identify and secure strategic residential development opportunities, targeting sites with approximately 100–500 plots across Cheshire and Merseyside.
- Lead the appraisal of potential sites, presenting recommendations to the senior leadership team.
- Support land acquisition and the broader development process, ensuring schemes progress effectively.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of land opportunities within the region.

About You
- Ambitious and enthusiastic with proven strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- 2–5 years of experience in land acquisition within the residential development or housebuilding sector, with a track record of delivering successful outcomes.
- A proactive team player eager to contribute to the growth of a thriving business.
