Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join their growing team operating across Bristol and the South West. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality topographical, measured building and engineering surveys across a wide range of sectors including residential, commercial, infrastructure and development projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated surveyor looking to work with modern surveying technology while supporting the delivery of accurate and reliable survey data for clients and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out topographical surveys on a variety of sites.
- Undertake measured building surveys and produce accurate survey data.
- Operate Total Stations, GPS and laser scanning equipment.
- Process and validate survey data for delivery to clients.
- Produce survey drawings using AutoCAD and associated software.
- Ensure all surveys are completed to company and industry standards.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and project stakeholders on site.
- Maintain survey equipment and ensure it remains calibrated and fit for purpose.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Support project delivery within agreed programmes and deadlines.

Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Land Surveyor.
- Experience undertaking topographical surveys.
- Competent using Total Stations and GNSS/GPS equipment.
- Experience processing survey data and producing survey drawings.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Right to work in the UK.

- Experience with Leica, Trimble or similar survey equipment.
- Knowledge of 3D modelling and point cloud processing software.
