Job Description

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, large-scale projects with significant environmental, ecological, and community considerations, helping to shape the relationship between infrastructure, landscape, and place.

As a Landscape Architect, you will:

  • Develop and deliver landscape design strategies, masterplans, and detailed landscape proposals.
  • Produce concept, schematic, and detailed design packages using industry-standard CAD and design software.
  • Carry out site appraisals, landscape analysis, and feasibility studies to inform design proposals.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated and coordinated design solutions.
  • Prepare high-quality technical drawings, specifications, reports, and construction documentation.
  • Manage projects from initial brief through to completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, presenting design proposals and responding positively to feedback.
  • Champion sustainable design principles, biodiversity, and environmental best practice throughout every project.
  • Ensure designs comply with UK planning legislation, building regulations, and local authority requirements.
  • Continue to develop your professional portfolio while staying up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practice in landscape architecture and urban design.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
