Join Our Landscape Planning Talent Network
Are you passionate about landscape planning, landscape and visual impact assessment, and shaping sustainable places? We're building our Landscape Planning Talent Network and would love to hear from talented Landscape Architects and Landscape Planners from Senior level through to Associate Director and Director level.
Do you want to work on some of the UK's most exciting development and infrastructure projects, influence how places evolve, and help create sustainable, resilient environments for future generations? If so, Stantec wants to hear from you.
Our Landscape Architecture team plays a key role in shaping places through landscape-led thinking, strategic planning and environmental assessment. You'll have the opportunity to work across all stages of the planning process, helping clients unlock development opportunities while enhancing landscape character, biodiversity and community value.
Join us and contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects across a broad range of sectors, including:
Urban regeneration and town centre renewal. New settlements and strategic masterplanning. Tall buildings and city-shaping developments. Residential and mixed-use developments. Commercial and employment-led schemes. Infrastructure and energy projects.
About You
We're looking for creative and commercially aware Landscape Architects and Landscape Planners who are passionate about delivering high-quality work and making a positive impact. Ideally, you'll have experience in some of the following areas:
Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA). Townscape and Visual Impact Assessments (TVIA). Preliminary landscape and visual appraisals. Strategic green infrastructure planning. Landscape capacity, sensitivity and character assessments. Green Belt and Strategic Gap assessments. Landscape-led masterplanning and strategic design input. Contributions to Design Codes, Design and Access Statements and Vision Documents.

You may already be Chartered through the Landscape Institute (CMLI) or be progressing through the Pathway to Chartership (P2C). Support and mentoring will be provided for those working towards chartership.
