I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

A Message from the Owner
When I started Everso Local, I wanted to build the kind of business I’d be proud to work for.
For us, quality always comes before cutting corners. We invest in good equipment, do jobs properly and treat our customers with honesty and respect. We’re still a growing business, which means every member of the team has the opportunity to make a real difference and grow with us.
I’m not looking for someone who already knows everything. I’m looking for someone who’s dependable, wants to learn, takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about doing a good job. Skills can be taught; attitude and reliability are much harder to find.
If you join Everso Local and prove yourself, you’ll be given responsibility, supported to develop your skills and have genuine opportunities to progress as the business grows.
