Job Title
LARGE LOSS PI CLAIMS HANDLER
Location: Kent or Merseyside based
Salary: up to £55k plus benefits
Role Overview
Hybrid working
If you have exceptional experience handling Motor Personal Injury RTA claims of a complex technical nature, we have a perfect role for you with excellent prospects and rewards.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage a caseload of technically complex claims up to a value of £500,000 including fatalities, mild brain, and serious orthopaedic injury claims
- Operate within Delegated Authority
- Reserve and report to reinsurers when required
- Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced claims handlers
- Handle technical referrals where required

Requirements
- Solid understanding of case law, statute, CPR, and Pre-Action Protocols
- Experience working in a similar role within the Insurance industry in the UK for several years
