Job Title

LARGE LOSS PI CLAIMS HANDLER

Location: Kent or Merseyside based

Salary: up to £55k plus benefits

Role Overview

Hybrid working

If you have exceptional experience handling Motor Personal Injury RTA claims of a complex technical nature, we have a perfect role for you with excellent prospects and rewards.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage a caseload of technically complex claims up to a value of £500,000 including fatalities, mild brain, and serious orthopaedic injury claims
  • Operate within Delegated Authority
  • Reserve and report to reinsurers when required
  • Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced claims handlers
  • Handle technical referrals where required

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of case law, statute, CPR, and Pre-Action Protocols
  • Experience working in a similar role within the Insurance industry in the UK for several years
