Job Title: Lasernet Document Analyst (18-Month Fixed Term Contract)
Description: This is an 18-month fixed-term contract, operating on a salary basis (not hour/day rate). As the Lasernet Document Analyst, you will take ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle, including:
- Underlying logic, data mapping, and document design.
- Collaboration with Development and Release teams around the build and deployment of all document requirements.
- Key role in refining, designing, and delivering all documents, ensuring formats match global standard requirements and keeping design documents up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Validation:
- Hands-on design of document layouts and prototypes to validate stakeholder expectations, reduce rework during development, and drive alignment across business and technical teams.

End-to-End Ownership:
- Own the Lasernet Document end-to-end delivery, including layout, structure, embedded logic, and data presentation.

Requirement Gathering & Clarification (Collaboration with stakeholders):
- Identify, challenge, and clearly define document requirements, including:
- Field-level data mapping
- Conditional logic
- Formatting and presentation
- Refine each requirement, translating them into clear designs and mock-ups for early validation before build.

Workshops & Business Rules Engagement:
- Facilitate workshops and sessions to uncover implicit business rules and edge cases affecting document outputs.
- Challenge unclear, overly complex, or globally non-compliant requirements.

Backlog Prioritisation:
- Organise requirements into manageable sprints post-DRIVE programme for future delivery.

Development Collaboration & Timing:
- Work closely with the development team to ensure documents meet timeline commitments.
- Serve as key liaison with third-party vendor (Lasernet) to align vendor solutions with internal requirements.

Libraries & Standards:
- Maintain an updated library of approved document templates/mock-ups, aligned with global standards.

- Process Alignment & Reporting:
- Lead daily refinement sessions with the development team to maintain timeline alignment.
- Escalate blockers or delays to the Product Manager and Programme Team.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst or document designer, collaborating closely with development teams.
- In-depth expertise with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite (Customer Engagement, Customer Service, Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Field Service).
- Strong background in requirements elicitation with business stakeholders, particularly around data, rules, and document outputs.
- Ability to interpret and clarify complex business logic and translate it into functional designs.
- Experience creating document mock-ups/prototypes using tools such as Word, PowerPoint, PDF design, or similar.
- Familiarity with Agile practices and backlog management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
- Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with execution detail.
