Who We Are
Apprentify Group is a portfolio of six companies, each with its own culture, personality and people. Across the group we support around 10,000 learners a year and we're scaling fast, including a growing apprenticeship delivery function that needs people who can hit the ground running from day one.
We need someone who can make the first 45 days of a learner's journey count, building momentum, trust and habits that carry learners through their whole programme.
The Quick Facts
- Location: Remote-first, UK. Occasional travel for company events and onboarding.
- Contract: Full-time, permanent
- Reports to: Head of Customer Success
- DBS Check Required
Life in the Role
A cohort of learners starts a new apprenticeship programme. Some are excited, some are confused and a few haven't logged in yet. Your job is to get all of them moving.
The Launch Coach owns the first 45 days of the apprentice journey. That means leading induction and onboarding, running enablement sessions, doing launch reviews with learners and employers, marking early submissions, flagging at-risk learners before they become a problem and handing everything over cleanly to the Development Coach at the end of the launch phase.
It's a high-volume, relationship-heavy role. You're the first person most learners really talk to and the impression you make sticks. At the same time, you're feeding accurate notes and records into a handover that a Development Coach will rely on for the next year.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Apprentify is a scale-up. Processes are still being built. Things change. We need someone who creates structure rather than waiting for it.
The Honest Hard Bit
The admin is real. Accurate records from day one are non-negotiable: compliance, safeguarding, diagnostics, early submissions. If you find documentation tedious, this isn't the right role.
You're also managing a high volume of new starters at any point, which means strong prioritisation and a calm head when things pile up.
Is This for You?
This is you if:
- You have at least 2 years’ experience in a coaching, customer success or account management role, within the education, apprenticeship, or training sector.
- You have proven experience delivering training, coaching or facilitation in professional or educational settings.
- You're naturally organised and follow through without being chased.
- You're able to provide high quality developmental feedback that supports learners' progress.
- You have a strong understanding of Safeguarding, Prevent and EDI responsibilities.
Not for you if:
- You want a settled, predictable environment with established processes.
- You prefer long-term caseload relationships over high-volume onboarding.
- You find compliance and record-keeping a burden rather than part of the job.
- You need a lot of direction before you can get moving.
