Role Description

The Launch & Partnerships Director is a full-time, on-site role based in London, responsible for leading strategic launches and building high-impact partnerships for Save Your Day Films. This role oversees planning and execution of launch strategies for new series, films, and formats, including timelines, budgets, and cross-functional coordination with production, marketing, and distribution teams. The Director cultivates and manages relationships with broadcasters, streaming platforms, brands, agencies, and other strategic partners, negotiating deals that expand the company’s reach and revenue.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Identifying new market opportunities
  • Developing pitch materials
  • Presenting projects to potential partners
  • Tracking performance of launched content

  • Collaborating on promotional campaigns
  • Attending industry events and markets
  • Providing regular reporting on partnership pipelines and launch outcomes to senior leadership

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or distribution within television, film, or media, with a strong track record of closing deals and managing partner relationships.
  • Expertise in launch strategy and go-to-market planning for content releases, including campaign coordination, stakeholder management, and performance analysis.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to create compelling pitch decks and articulate value propositions to diverse partners.
  • Demonstrated understanding of global media markets, broadcasters, streaming platforms, and trends in factual and travel programming.
  • Ability to work on-site in London, collaborate effectively with creative and production teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Media, Communications, Film, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Comfort with CRM tools, data analysis, and reporting to track partnership pipelines and launch performance; familiarity with legal and contractual frameworks in media is an advantage.
  • Experience building international partnerships and working across cultures; enthusiasm for storytelling, travel, and factual content is highly beneficial.
