Role: Law Clerk (Commercial Real Estate / Energy) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $40 – $55/hour
Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients, to fill a Law Clerk (Commercial Real Estate / Energy) role. This position operates on a contract basis and involves supporting legal teams in drafting, reviewing, and managing critical commercial real estate and energy-related documentation. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting legal research
- Preparing transactional documents
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and prepare commercial real estate and energy contracts, including lease agreements and transactional documentation.
- Conduct legal research on commercial real estate and energy law, covering regulatory compliance and transactional due diligence.
- Assist in the management of transactional documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
- Coordinate with legal teams, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate seamless transaction processes.
- Maintain organized records of legal documents and correspondence for current and future reference.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree or enrollment in an accredited law school, with at least two completed years.
- Preferable prior experience as a law clerk, legal assistant, or similar role in commercial real estate or energy sectors.
- Proficient in drafting and reviewing legal documents, such as contracts and lease agreements.
- Strong ability to conduct thoughtful legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar databases.
- Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail for document management and compliance tracking.
