Role Profile The Cloud Programme Manager will report into the Securities Engineering Programme Director and will be responsible for the day-to-day planning, coordination, and delivery management of the LCH Ltd Cloud Programme. This is a strategically critical, multi-year programme spanning cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, application migration, and regulatory dimensions across LCH Ltd and its group entities (RCL, ECL, CaLM, SWC, FXC, Shared Services). The role will work closely with Engineering, Risk, Finance, Legal, CCO, Architecture, and Infrastructure teams to ensure that cloud workstreams are tracking to plan, risks are managed, and governance obligations are met. The Cloud Programme Manager will own the programme management discipline across the LCH Ltd Cloud Programme - maintaining delivery plans, RAID logs, dependency maps, financial tracking, and governance reporting packs. The role operates within the Securities Engineering PMO function and applies LSEG Group standards for project methodology, governance, and risk management, while adapting pragmatically to the fast-paced and highly regulated environment of LCH Ltd. Key Responsibilities · Manage day-to-day delivery coordination across cloud programme workstreams, ensuring plans are current, accurate, and actively used to track progress. · Maintain the Cloud Programme RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), tracking actions through to resolution and escalating where required. · Own the dependency map across cloud workstreams and group entities (RCL, ECL, CaLM, SWC, FXC, Shared Services), ensuring cross-programme conflicts and blockers are surfaced early. · Prepare and distribute programme reporting packs for senior stakeholders and governance forums, including the Cloud Programme governance board and LCH Ltd Engineering leadership. · Track the Cloud Programme budget (Capex/Opex), coordinate with Finance on forecasting, and provide regular financial updates and variance analysis to the Securities Programme Director. · Coordinate resource planning across cloud workstreams, working with Engineering leads to identify capacity constraints and risks to delivery. · Organise and facilitate Cloud Programme governance board meetings, including agenda management, pre-read distribution, action tracking, and minutes. · Ensure adherence to LSEG Group Standards for project methodology, governance, and risk management across all cloud workstreams. · Support stakeholder engagement and communications across the cloud programme, producing clear and audience-appropriate updates for technical and non-technical stakeholders. · Track and report on cloud programme benefits realisation, maintaining the benefits register and ensuring delivery milestones are linked to business outcomes. · Coordinate with the LCH Ltd Portfolio Office, Securities Engineering PMO, Integration Management Office (IMO), and Technology Integration Management Office (TIMO) for cross-group alignment. · Apply pragmatic, flexible, and responsive delivery approaches, adapting to evolving priorities while maintaining governance integrity. · Support continuous improvement in PMO practices, tooling, and templates across the Engineering PMO function. · Work with teams across multiple locations and time zones, including offshore and European partner teams, simultaneously. I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
