We are now looking for a skilled and motivated Technician / Mechanic to join our Flex-E-Rent Newcastle workshop team—an opportunity to progress in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

Enterprise Flex-E-Rent is our commercial vehicle rental division, providing tailored services across the UK and Ireland. As a team member, you’ll play a critical role in driving our growth by maintaining and servicing high-demand vehicles.

Location

Livingston House Wellington, Dunston Road Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE11 9JL

Note on Bonus: £750 payable in your first month, another £750 payable upon successful completion of 90-day probation (Amounts may be subject to tax and National Insurance adjustments)


Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing:

  • Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a diverse range of commercial vehicles (e.g., HGVs, LCVs, buses)
  • Working with top brands such as Mercedes, Iveco, and Ford
  • Ensuring all vehicles meet UK safety and quality regulations
  • Preparing vehicles for MOT checks
  • Collaborating with a friendly and skilled team

Requirements

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent certification)
  • Proven experience with HGVs or LCVs
  • A valid UK / Irish / EU Manual Driving Licence
  • A proactive, detail-oriented attitude, with a strong passion for vehicle maintenance
