LCV Fitter / LGV Mechanic (Sizewell C)

Responsibilities
- Ensuring vehicles remain safe, complaint and fully operational
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on LGVs, trailers and other fleet vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults
- Ensure all work meets DVSA, manufacturer and company compliance requirements
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks and defect rectification
- Replace and repair components e.g. breaks, clutches, suspension, steering systems, gearboxes and engines
- Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve fault codes
- Conduct roadside breakdown repairs when required
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Keep workshop and equipment safe, clean and well maintained
- Follow safe systems of work

Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- City & Guilds Light Vehicle qualifications (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
- MOT Tester licence (beneficial)
- CSCS card

We are looking for an experienced and reliable LCV Fitter to inspect, maintain and repair a wide range LGV's. The successful candidate will have hands-on technical experience and the ability to work alone and part of a team. They will also have strong diagnostic skills and experience working on LGV's.
