LCV Service & Repair Advisor
Permanent Role – Fleet Maintenance Coordinator 40 hours per week | £30,300.00 | Oldbury, B69 4DA | Mon-Fri, 08:30–17:00
As part of the UK’s most sustainable delivery company, this role supports our £2B+ turnover by efficiently managing vehicle maintenance for our Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) fleet. You’ll ensure seamless operations, forge strong supplier relationships, and guarantee cost-effective repairs while driving operational excellence.
Responsibilities

Fleet Maintenance Coordination
- Plan and schedule both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across DPD’s fleet.
- Work with owner driver franchisees (ODF) to minimise disruptions and streamline bookings.

Key Relationship Management
- Maintain communication between ODFs, depots, and third-party repairers to ensure repairs progress efficiently.
- Strengthen relationships with the repairer network while preserving strong partnerships with dealer networks.

Operational Analytics & Compliance
- Use data to analyse repair network utilisation, keeping Vehicle Out of Repair (VOR) time minimal.
- Monitor legislative compliance on all service documents and documentation.
- Process and handle prompt invoice payments.

Reporting & Record Keeping
- Run daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports (service logs, MOT records, operational performance).
- Update internal records in line with company standards.
- Provide administrative support to:
- Road Transport Collision team (as required)
- Maintenance Control team (as required)

- Other reasonable management tasks may be necessary.
Qualifications & Skills

Essential
- Strong analytical and organisational abilities with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaborative leadership in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient IT skills with experience in Microsoft suite or Google Workspace.
- Proven adaptability and a can-do attitude while meeting deadlines under pressure.

Preferred
- Formal qualifications in logistics, commercial vehicle maintenance, or related fields.
- Industry experience in fleet management, procurement, or maintenance logistics (highly valued).
