Who We Are

Boston Consulting Group partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. BCG was the pioneer in business strategy when it was founded in 1963. Today, we help clients with total transformation—inspiring complex change, enabling organizations to grow, building competitive advantage, and driving bottom-line impact.

To succeed, organizations must blend digital and human capabilities. Our diverse, global teams bring deep industry and functional expertise and a range of perspectives to spark change. BCG delivers solutions through leading-edge management consulting along with technology and design, corporate and digital ventures—and business purpose. We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.

What You'll Do

BCG's Global Learning & Development organization is embarking on a multi-year transformation to modernize how learning is designed, delivered, and experienced across the firm. As we evolve toward a more data-informed, AI-enabled learning ecosystem, we are redesigning our capabilities, technology, and ways of working to better meet the firm's current and future talent needs. This transformation spans multiple strategic initiatives, including advancing AI-enabled learning, evolving our learning portfolio, and strengthening operational excellence. It requires strong global program management to translate strategy into execution, drive alignment across global stakeholders, proactively manage risk, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

As the central Program Senior Manager and part of the Strategy & Transformation team, you will independently lead multiple workstreams from strategy through execution. You will translate priorities into executable plans, establish governance and delivery approaches, drive alignment across global stakeholders, and ensure successful outcomes through proactive management of dependencies, risks, decisions, and milestones. You will partner closely with your L&D colleagues, extended stakeholders, and senior leaders to shape execution, enable decision making, and deliver measurable business impact.

Key Activities And Responsibilities Include

  • Roadmap development and project planning – Independently lead the development and evolution of the multi-year Global L&D Transformation roadmap in partnership with business and functional leaders. Translate priorities into executable workstreams, defining governance, milestones, success metrics, dependencies, and resource requirements while proactively identifying trade-offs and opportunities to maximize business value.
  • Project analytics, support, and execution – Independently lead assigned transformation workstreams from planning through delivery. Drive execution across cross-functional teams by converting strategic objectives into actionable implementation plans, proactively resolving barriers, managing competing priorities, and ensuring delivery against agreed outcomes, timelines, and budget.
  • Tracking and Analysis – Establish and manage program performance frameworks, including KPIs, executive dashboards, and portfolio reporting. Analyze program performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations that support executive decision-making and portfolio prioritization.
  • Change and Risk Management – Lead change and risk management activities across assigned workstreams by proactively identifying organizational, operational, and delivery risks; developing mitigation strategies; and driving resolution of issues before they impact delivery. Partner with senior stakeholders to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, facilitate decision making, and build alignment that enables successful adoption of transformation initiatives.
  • Business cases and management communications – Develop compelling business cases, investment proposals, and executive recommendations that support strategic decision making. Craft high-quality executive communications, Steering Committee materials, and leadership presentations that clearly articulate progress, risks, decisions, and recommendations for senior leadership.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
