We are seeking a focused and dynamic Training Manager to play a pivotal role in leading Kara Training Academy and healthcare development, ensuring essential e-learning and in-person training align with our operational and compliance standards. Your mission is to design tailored career pathways, support professional growth, and reinforce exceptional care delivery across our network.
About the Role
A key contributor to our People and Culture team, the Training Manager manages our end-to-end recruitment, ensuring alignment with our values and their operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
- E-Learning Management: Lead our online learning platform, guaranteeing full compliance, with tailored training programmes that boost knowledge and performance.
- Face-to-Face Training: Design an engaging induction programme and create smart training materials with enhancing and relevant content. Bridge skill gaps through workshops—specialising in:
- Manual handling
- Fire safety training
- First aid
- Dementia care
- Career-specific onboarding for new starters.
- Compliance & Training Monitoring: Verify that all staff meet legal and regulatory expectations through transparent, consistent training checks.
- Role-Specific Workshops: Develop in-depth training sessions tailored to each staff role.
- Career Pathways: Craft structured developmental roads allowing continuous learning and career progression—granting everyone the potential to excel.
Requirements
A blend of strategic creativity, technical savvy, and patient compassion is essential. Your ideal candidate:
- Is literally proven in conceiving, facilitating, and managing conducive yet innovative learning and development programmes.
- Holds Certified Train the Trainer or Manual Training qualifications.
- Has experience managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Moodle, Skillsoft, or comparable platforms.
- Specialist command of health social care rules and trainability regulations.
- Fortify powerful group sessions with clear messaging, dynamic presentation skills, and a positivity-centered training mindset.
- Expertise in formulating content through sound instruction design principles—from lesson planning to tailored e-learning interfaces.
- Thrives in interactive training engagements, improving staff retention and engagement together.
- Perfectly organises diverse project tasks with deadlines clearly met, expanding the training team’s success continuously.
- Boasts outstanding communication and relatable interpersonal skills, ensuring mutual respect and professional growth.
- Analysing training outcomes and presenting strategic evaluations, ensuring measurable lifelong progress.
