Overhead Linesperson (LE2) Location: Basingstoke Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Competitive + Flexible Benefits Freedom has an opportunity for an Overhead Linesperson to join our team delivering overhead line projects, including construction and replacement of existing networks. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of challenging projects while developing your skills and progressing your career within the business. Some of the key deliverables in this role will include: Carry out construction, maintenance and replacement of overhead electrical networks up to 33kV. Erect poles, replace transformers and undertake a range of overhead line activities. Work safely at all times in line with company policies, procedures and statutory requirements. Participate in risk assessments and monitor works to identify and report any changes. Ensure all work is delivered efficiently and to high quality standards. Follow all method statements, risk assessments and safety instructions. Maintain site safety and report any SHEQ concerns. Mentor and support other team members on site. Maintain tools, equipment and vehicles in good working order. Engage professionally with the public and stakeholders where required. What We’re Looking For Essential: Experience working as an Overhead Linesperson. Experience working on dead networks and live LV systems. NRSWA Operative accreditation. Full UK Driving Licence. Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Professional and courteous approach when interacting with the public. Desirable: IPAF accreditation (training can be provided). Driving licence with C1+E category. City & Guilds 2339 (formerly 2322). NPTC Chainsaw qualification.
