Job Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy, developing service which has a systemic underpinning, offering NICE concordant systemic therapy for eating disorders as its core intervention. You will ensure that CYP-CEDS has the best possible secretarial and administrative support so that the available clinical and managerial resources can be used most effectively for the benefit of users and carers.

The growing specialist multi-disciplinary team is made up of psychiatrists, nurses, systemic psychotherapists, clinical psychologists, assistant psychologists, a consultant paediatrician and a dietician. The service also hosts students from nursing, undergraduate psychology courses, trainee clinical psychologists, and medical trainees, fostering a welcoming culture with a focus on learning and development within the service. Team working is held at the core of the service with a range of processes to ensure everyone in the team feels supported in their work, including weekly team meetings and 1:1 supervision.

The team operate mainly core hours 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, the successful post holder will need to be on site 5 days a week without the flexibility of home working. The successful post holder will be responsible for the line management of the team’s secretary.

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that CYP-CEDS has the best possible secretarial and administrative support so that the available clinical and managerial resources can be used most effectively for the benefit of users and carers.
  • To manage all the administration staff in the service.

Requirements:

  • Suitable applicants will have 2yrs administrative experience preferably in a CAMHS setting and have good knowledge of senior healthcare administrative duties.
