Lead Administrator – 6-month FTC
Do you have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and keeping operations running smoothly? Would you like to take on a key role where you are at the heart of terminal activities, building strong relationships with customers, hauliers and colleagues every day?
We are seeking a Lead Administrator to join our team on a six-month FTC and help keep the world moving!
Your Role
As Administration Lead, you will be the primary point of contact for operational administration across the terminal, ensuring customer queries are handled efficiently and professionally. You will be responsible for overseeing weighbridge operations, processing documentation accurately, maintaining records, and supporting the smooth flow of information between customers, visitors, drivers and site teams.
You will be responsible for producing and maintaining key operational reports, monitoring compliance with site procedures and industry regulations, and supporting safe and efficient terminal operations. You will also oversee data accuracy, track performance metrics, resolve operational issues, and deliver a consistently professional and customer-focused service across the site. This role is mainly Monday to Friday, but candidates must be flexible and available to work occasional evenings and weekends to meet business requirements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
