Lead AI Software Engineer / Architect

AI Tech Lead / Senior Software Engineer / Software Architect .NET | C# | Python | AI | Architecture | London (Hybrid)

Role Type & Compensation Permanent: £80,000 – £110,000 + Benefits OR Contract: £600 – £700 per day Location: London City (1–2 days/week)

Overview

We’re partnering with a global leader to transform one of its most critical business platforms. This opportunity is for a Tech Lead, Senior Software Engineer, or Software Architect who can lead the modernisation effort—balancing strategic architecture with hands-on delivery.

The focus is on incremental evolution of a legacy product, not refinement, ensuring AI capabilities are embedded both in the product and the software development lifecycle. You’ll shape the platform’s future while staying engaged with implementation.

Ideal for engineers who thrive solving complex technical challenges and building scalable, modern systems.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
