The Role
We are seeking experienced, innovative, and collaborative Lead AI Tech Architects who can help our clients unlock their digital potential through enterprise-grade CRM and AI-driven solutions.
This is an opportunity to:
- Guide clients through large-scale CRM transformations with AI integration
- Develop cutting-edge technical architectures that align with business goals
- Lead high-impact projects with end-to-end responsibility
- Shape BCG Platinion’s technical consulting practices and the BCG brand
What You’ll Do
Core Responsibilities (CRM & AI-Focused Tech Leadership)
- Design tailored CRM architectures that optimize sales, service, and marketing functions, enhancing customer journeys
- Evaluate and recommend CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SAP CX, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle) based on business requirements and industry best practices
- Redesign end-to-end processes (e.g., Lead-to-Quote, Quote-to-Cash, Service Management, Customer Support) using AI-based analytics and automation
- Build compelling business cases, demonstrating ROI, scalability, and AI-driven value through CRM transformations
- Collaborate with clients to drive digital adoption, facilitating user buy-in and process alignment

Project Leadership & Delivery
- Take end-to-end ownership of complex, strategic 'modules' within high-impact projects
- Develop in-depth technical expertise to solve enterprise-scale challenges
- Begin actively managing and mentoring junior team members
- Lead client-facing engagements, including proposal development, on-site implementation, and relationship management
Invigoration of Practice Growth
- Contribute to BCG Platinion’s technological direction, helping to shape CRM and AI consultancy
- Strengthen tech practice content and act as a key and systematic contributor to cases and client solutions
What You’ll Bring
Experience & Expertise
- 10–15 years in IT architecture, with a deep focus on CRM solutions in consulting
- Proven experience in roles such as CRM Lead Architect, Senior Consultant, or specialist lead
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, SAP CX, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle), particularly in:
- Customer engagement processes (sales, service, marketing)
- Integration complexities (leading large CRM migrations, data lake integrations, ERP syncs)
- Strong background in AI/ML integration with CRM systems, including:
- Predictive analytics in Salesforce/Teams AI, Einstein cue capture AI
- AI in Zendesk, Bain Salesforce, cloud-native IVA UX/AI implementations
- Experience with commerce platforms (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and API-led integrations (MuleSoft, Boomi, Dell Boomi)
- Expertise in retail sector legacy remediation (e.g., legacy facades, API strategy design)
- Familiarity with advanced cloud systems (K8s, VMs, IT Serv unit Communities) and portfolio management
- Depth in automated bot factories, chatbot, IVA (Voice/AI-driven virtual agents) design
- Functional knowledge of Supply chains, PTEL (process-to-execution tech), merchant system integration

Technical & Leadership Skills
- Advanced grasp of integration patterns: Event-driven, life-cycle-oriented configurations (Buyer/Seller, API models, IT life-systems management)
- Knowledge of end-to-end process automation (Lead-to-Quote, Marketing, Service Management)
- Ability to bridge technical and business audiences in architecture solutioning
- Strong understanding of Composable Commerce and Default Frame Architecture Systems
Education & Certifications Preferred (vs. Required)
- University degree with strong academic performance in:
- Mathematics, Science, IT, MSc IT, Business Administration
- Top skills in AU/ANZ industry transformation and Bain consulting case learning
