Lead Air Conditioning Engineer FM Service Provider Commercial Buildings Woolwich, London & M25 Up to £50,000 per annum + Package
CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Lead Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well-established and growing HVAC/FM service provider based in Woolwich.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Lead Engineer or a Senior Air Conditioning Engineer looking to take the next step in their career. Working as part of a close-knit engineering team, you will provide technical support and day-to-day guidance to a team of 9 Air Conditioning Engineers, while remaining 100% hands-on carrying out service, maintenance, fault finding and installation works across commercial, retail and high-end residential properties throughout London and the M25. Alongside your engineering duties, you will assist with coordinating engineers, supporting project installations and acting as the first point of contact for technical queries on site.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a wide range of HVAC equipment.
- Service, maintain, fault find and repair Split Systems, VRV/VRF, AHUs, FCUs, Chillers and associated air conditioning plant.
- Assist with the delivery of air conditioning installation and refurbishment projects.
- Provide day-to-day technical support and guidance to a team of 9 Air Conditioning Engineers.
- Support the Operations Manager with coordinating workloads and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently.
- Carry out site surveys and identify remedial works where required.
- Ensure all works are completed in line with F-Gas regulations, health & safety legislation and company procedures.
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately.
- Liaise professionally with clients and provide excellent customer service on site.
- Participate in the on-call rota, attending site when required.

Hours of Work & Salary
- £50,000 Basic Salary
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00am 4:30pm
- Company Van
- Fuel Card
- On-site parking
- Call-out rota
- Overtime available
- 23 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
- F-Gas Category 1 Certification
- Strong experience servicing and maintaining commercial air conditioning systems
- Experience with Split Systems, VRV/VRF, AHUs, FCUs and Chillers
- Previous experience as a Senior or Lead Air Conditioning Engineer, or someone looking to step up into a lead role
- Experience supporting or mentoring other engineers
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
