Lead Architect

Job Description: DXC Technology

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced Lead Architect to provide clear technical accountability for solutions delivered. This role will lead architectural governance, shape transformation outcomes, and ensure solutions align with client priorities, industry standards, and client technology strategy.

At DXC Technology, we are committed to building an inclusive workplace where everyone can succeed. We actively encourage applications from neurodiverse individuals, women, and those from other underrepresented groups in technology.

The Role

As a Lead Architect, you will provide technical leadership, governance, and clear accountability across client solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will align delivery to business priorities, technology roadmaps, and agreed standards while shaping transformation, innovation, and future opportunities.

Success will depend on strong collaboration, fast feedback, and practical guidance across business, service, and technical architecture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own technical accountability by ensuring solution decisions are clear, well governed, and aligned to client outcomes
  • Lead architectural governance and assurance across service lines, domains, and delivery teams
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor, influencing client and DXC stakeholders from technical teams through to CxO level
  • Shape transformation, innovation, new business, and future service opportunities in line with client and DXC technology roadmaps
  • Define technical direction for contract phases, transition activity, and complex solution delivery
  • Assess change requests, resolve complex issues, and guide practical technical responses
  • Collaborate across client, partner, and DXC teams to ensure solutions integrate successfully across domains
  • Develop reusable solutions and champion emerging technologies, constructive challenge, and cultural change

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
