What You'll Be Doing

As our Lead Bioresources Technician, you'll be the driving force behind the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our treatment processes.

Reporting to the Bioresources Manager, you'll:

  • Lead and coordinate day-to-day site activities across bioresource operations
  • Support and develop a team of Bioresources Technicians
  • Drive continuous improvement projects that enhance performance, efficiency, and sustainability
  • Coordinate contractors and resources to ensure smooth site operations
  • Champion health, safety, and environmental excellence
  • Identify operational improvements and implement innovative solutions
  • Help ensure our renewable energy and resource recovery processes continue to perform at their best

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who's passionate about operational excellence and making a difference.

You'll have:

  • Experience in a fast-paced operational environment within a mechanical, electrical, process, or industrial setting
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety practices and legislation
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with internal and external stakeholders
  • A collaborative leadership style with a passion for supporting and motivating others
  • A proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
  • Flexibility to participate in management standby arrangements
  • A full UK driving licence
