Salary
£54,000 (pro rata dependent on experience)
About the Role
We are looking for a Lead Business Change Professional to drive the successful delivery of business change within a major enterprise-wide IT transformation programme.
In this role, you will lead the planning, delivery, and assurance of business change activity across medium to large-scale projects and complex transformation initiatives. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to support the adoption of new technologies, systems, and ways of working, ensuring the expected benefits are achieved.
Core Duties
- Lead the development and delivery of business change artefacts, including:
- Change impact assessments
- Communication plans
- Stakeholder assessments
- Training plans
- Overarching change strategies
- Take responsibility for business change delivery within medium to large-sized projects or provide tailored support within complex transformation programmes or business-wide change initiatives
- Own and monitor business benefit realisation, ensuring outcomes align with agreed objectives, benefits frameworks, and KPIs
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define, shape, and agree project benefits, and establish robust benefits management plans
- Establish and lead change networks and change champion programs to drive engagement, adoption, and sustained behavioural change
- Ensure business change management is consistently embedded, delivered, and assured across all project activity using standardised approaches
- Support implementation and adoption of new systems, technologies, and ways of working across the organisation
- Deputy for the Portfolio Business Change Manager in their absence, including attending key meetings and acting as a point of contact for the team

Essential Skills
- A relevant Business Change qualification (e.g., APMG, PROSCI, or equivalent)
- Demonstrable experience in Business Change, including:
- Knowledge of change management methodologies and frameworks
- Experience delivering change within enterprise-wide IT transformation programmes
- Ability to lead and deliver business change activities across medium to high-complexity projects
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including competency in working with senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to provide clear guidance and direction on business change activities
