Location: London Salary: Up to £55,000
Business Intelligence Analysts hold the power to turn data into strategic wisdom. This is a rare opportunity for a talented Lead Business Intelligence Analyst to take full ownership of an organisation's Tableau environment within a globally recognised and ambitious firm. By integrating analytics more deeply across the company, you will shape how data is structured, governed, and leveraged—securing a key role in transitioning to an AI-enabled, cloud-driven analytics capability that delivers real business impact.

Lead end-to-end Tableau development, ensuring seamless integration across Tableau Desktop, Prep, and Cloud

Design, develop, and optimise:
- Dashboard architectures
- Data models
- Statistical and reporting best practices

Champion governance standards for BI including:
- Data quality frameworks
- Performance-optimised data pipelines
- Maintenance of security and version-control policies

Own escalations and resolutions for complex reporting issues, partnering closely with data engineering teams to shape long-term architectural strategy

Act as a vital link between technical teams and business stakeholders:
- Train and empower business users to independently build high-cloud dashboards
- Translate technical concerns into clear, actionable insights

Lead the migration from on-premise data warehouses to Google Cloud Platform, with a focus on:
- Reducing efficiency gaps
- Streamlining performance
- Minimising technical debt across platforms

Drive transformation toward AI-powered analytics:
- Contribute to the design of semantic-layer-enhanced predictive models
- Explore new technologies to automate analytical workflows

Core Requirements

Deep, hands-on commercial experience with Tableau, including:
- Developing complex dashboards
- Building and optimising data sources

Strong proficiency in SQL, covering:
- Advanced querying
- Data manipulation
- Performance tuning for analytical workloads

Proven experience leading or improving large-scale Tableau or BI environments, including:
- Design optimisation for users and performance
- Scalability of dashboards across teams
- Implementation of enterprise-wide governance

A distinctly end-to-end mentality for BI delivery rather than siloed focus

Outstanding stakeholder engagement, with an ability to simplify and articulate technical complexities across business contexts
Desirable
- Prior working experience in cloud environments in either:
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or related tooling migration
- Hadoop, Spark, or Serverless technologies
- Knowledgeable about data culture transformation
- Strategic approach to AI integrated analytics
- Proven track record migrating on-premises analytics to cloud ecosystems
