Role Overview
Primary Objective: As the Lead Coach, you will report to the General Manager and lead a team of approximately 25 coaches.
Core Responsibilities
You’ll dedicate:
- 25 hours per week to coaching (5 working days, including one weekend day)
- 15 hours per week to administrative and leadership duties
- 2 days per week off
Key Duties
- Coaching Delivery:
- Deliver 5-star member experience, ensuring high retention and low churn
- Team Leadership:
- Onboard new coaches, providing training on systems and processes
- Evaluate new hires through monitoring and structured assessments (shadows for candidates, new-coach and Rover evaluations)
- Coordinating pairings/team dynamics, ensuring smooth operations and a stellar experience for members and trials
- Development & Evaluation:
- Conduct monthly performance evaluations for coaches, scheduling one-on-one meetings for feedback and growth planning
- Collaborate with the Area Trainer to facilitate additional training and development opportunities
- Lobby Engagement:
- When required, provide a world-class lobby experience during shifts (delegate to the Amazing Trial Experience framework)
- Build rapport with parents and sustain energy to enhance overall member satisfaction

Compensation
Our Lead Coach earns $20.00 – $30.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and performance. This role also provides opportunities for advancement, training, wellness support, and a collaborative team.
