Data Analyst – Commercial Insight

London - Hybrid 2-3x a week

Up to £90,000

This is a high-impact Data Analyst – Commercial Insight opportunity within a fast-growing, investment-backed business undergoing significant commercial transformation. The Role

You will act as a true commercial analytics partner, turning complex and often ambiguous data into clear, actionable insight for senior stakeholders. This is a thinking-first role focused on solving business problems rather than producing dashboards.

  • Transform raw data from multiple sources into clear commercial insights and recommendations
  • Build advanced Excel models, including forecasting, scenario modelling, and sensitivity analysis
  • Deliver board-level PowerPoint presentations that combine strong narrative with robust analysis
  • Partner closely with marketing, CRM, and growth teams to answer critical business questions
  • Investigate performance trends and identify root causes behind changes in key metrics
  • Support strategic decision-making, including investment allocation and growth planning

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial analytics experience within a data-driven environment
  • Advanced Excel modelling capability, including structured logic and scenario analysis
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, concise business recommendations
  • Confident creating executive-level presentations in PowerPoint
  • Experience working with marketing, CRM, or customer data
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on understanding the drivers behind performance
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and solving open-ended commercial questions
  • Interest in developing into a leadership role over time
