Lead Commercial Data Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Data Analyst to drive revenue growth through data-driven insights. In this role, you will focus on the “why” and “what next” by analyzing commercial performance, subscriber behavior, and pricing strategies for our data feeds, market intelligence software, and analytics platforms. You will manage and manipulate commercial data to optimize our sales pipeline and revenue tracking. This position reports to Doug Strein.

You Will:

  • Lead commodity data and pricing strategy, evaluating the commercial performance of specific datasets and benchmarks, developing value-based pricing models for data feeds and APIs, and auditing client usage to identify expansion opportunities.
  • Drive churn and retention analytics, identifying leading indicators of customer churn, building predictive risk models, segmenting client cohorts, and quantifying the financial impact of downgrades to mitigate revenue leakage.
  • Optimize CRM analytics and commercial reporting, building and maintaining Salesforce dashboards, monitoring core KPIs like sales pipelines and ARR, and designing executive performance dashboards in partnership with Sales, Product, and Editorial teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
