This is an opportunity to work with some of the UK's leading organisations, influencing sustainability strategy at board level while helping shape the future of climate adaptation and resilience across multiple sectors.
The Role at a Glance
- Job Title: Lead Consultant
- Work Model: Remote / Flexible (UK-working with London Office access)
- Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 DOE + Performance-Related Bonus
- Benefits:

Impact Areas
Operating within our Carbon & Climate team, you will:
- Take a leading role in developing and delivering climate risk, adaptation, and resilience services across our client portfolio.
- Combine business development, client leadership, and project delivery responsibilities for clients.
- Help organisations understand climate-related risks and implement practical adaptation strategies for measurable outcomes.
- Engage with senior stakeholders, build trusted relationships, and facilitate climate ambition into actionable plans.
Sample Daily Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities in climate risk, adaptation, and resilience services.
- Lead complex climate adaptation and resilience projects.
- Advise C-suite stakeholders on climate-related risks and strategic responses.
- Develop climate adaptation and resilience strategies across multiple sectors.
- Support clients with TCFD, IFRS, CSRD and related reporting requirements.
- Work closely with clients to identify adaptation and resilience opportunities.
- Deliver climate and sustainability training via consultancy projects and the Supply Chain Sustainability School.
- Act as a key link between consultancy and school operations on climate risk, KPIs, and reporting.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder engagement sessions, and training programmes.
- Speak at industry conferences, events, and client forums to share insights and drive opportunities.
- Collaborate with procurement and wider sustainability teams to deliver integrated client outcomes.
About You
You must be an experienced climate change professional who synthesizes technical expertise with commercial awareness and strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Experience:
- Deep expertise in climate change, climate risk, adaptation, and resilience planning.
- Strong knowledge of TCFD, IFRS, CSRD, and related reporting frameworks.
- Experience integrating climate considerations into wider corporate strategy.
- Understanding of climate impacts across supply chains and operational environments.
- Proven ability to build trust and relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Experience in delivering training, workshops, and public speaking.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Passion for sustainability with a proactive, self-driven approach.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail.
- Collaborative mindset and desire to create meaningful impact.
Qualifications:
- Degree-qualified or equivalent industry experience.
- MISEP (MD deg in Impacts, Sustainability and Environment Planning) or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
