Oracle HRMS EBS Functional Testing Lead (AMS)
About the Role
The Oracle HRMS EBS Functional Testing Lead (AMS) oversees functional testing for Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS within a steady-state Application Management Services (AMS) environment. This role ensures production stability and release quality by managing test planning, execution, and defect governance for incidents, enhancements, regulatory changes, and patches.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the functional test strategy and planning for AMS releases, patches, and enhancements
- Lead System Testing, Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles for Oracle HRMS EBS
- Coordinate testing across HRMS modules, including:
- Core HR
- Payroll
- Absence
- Recruitment
- Learning
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage for:
- Payroll processing
- Statutory obligations
- Business-critical scenarios
- Manage test execution, including defect triage, retesting, and closure in collaboration with AMS teams
- Maintain & update:
- RTM (Request for Testing log)
- Test scenarios
- Test cases
- Regression suites
- Drive continuous improvement of testing processes and test assets

Required Skills & Experience
Technical & Business Knowledge
- 10–14+ years of experience in Oracle HRMS E-Business Suite functional testing
- Deep functional expertise in:
- Core HR
- Payroll
- Absence
- Recruitment & Learning modules
- Hands-on experience in managing AMS testing cycles and release validation
- Strong understanding of:
- HRMS business processes
- Payroll processing cycles
- Defect management and regression planning
Testing & Delivery Skills
- Experience working in ITIL-aligned AMS environments
- Ability to manage testing under production and payroll deadlines
- Strong stakeholder coordination and reporting skills
- Knowledge of:
- Test management tools
- Documentation standards
