Job Description

The Oracle HRMS EBS Functional Testing Lead (AMS) is responsible for leading functional testing activities for Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS in a steady-state Application Management Services (AMS) environment. The role ensures production stability and release quality by managing test planning, execution, and defect governance for incidents, enhancements, regulatory changes, and patches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own functional test strategy and planning for AMS releases, patches, and enhancements
  • Lead System, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing cycles for Oracle HRMS EBS
  • Coordinate testing for HRMS modules including Core HR, Payroll, Absence, Recruitment & Learning Modules.
  • Ensure adequate test coverage for payroll, statutory processing, and business-critical scenarios
  • Manage test execution, defect triage, retesting, and closure in coordination with AMS teams
  • Maintain RTM, test scenarios, test cases, and regression suites
  • Drive continuous improvement of testing processes and test assets

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10–14+ years of experience in Oracle HRMS E-Business Suite functional testing
  • Strong functional knowledge of Core HR, Payroll, Absence, Recruitment & Learning Modules.
  • Hands-on experience managing AMS testing cycles and release validation
  • Strong understanding of HRMS business processes and payroll processing cycles
  • Experience in defect management and regression planning

Testing & Delivery Skills

  • Experience working in ITIL-aligned AMS environments
  • Ability to manage testing under production and payroll timelines
  • Strong stakeholder coordination and reporting skills
  • Knowledge of test management tools and documentation standards
